All Frauenschuh leather items are produced using a special ecological tanning process, completely free of chemicals, and cannot be cleaned using conventional methods.

Care instructions for light stains:
For minor surface stains, we recommend gently rubbing the leather sides together. The friction generates warmth, which helps the impurities penetrate the leather pores for easier removal.

For heavier stains, professional leather cleaning should be used. Avoid any chemical pre-treatments.

To refresh the leather, we recommend airing the item overnight in a well-ventilated outdoor space. Make sure to avoid direct sunlight or moonlight to prevent fading or other alterations to the leather.
