Our leather and shearling are sourced as byproduct materials from the food industry and adhere to strict European animal welfare guidelines. 

The materials are tanned and dyed in traditional processes with natural agents, without pesticides, chromium or lead-containing substances. 

We proudly partner with of highly specialized, independent family-owned artisan workshops in Italy for the production of all our leather & shearling garments. 

With every wear, the natural material accompanies the wearer on a journey, developing a rich, living patina. A subtlety in tone, depth of color,  refined luster, and a distinct character emerge organically. The garment transforms into an one-of-a-kind piece, a reflection of its wearer's life and experiences. 

Lambskin Light is one of the most exceptional materials we work with. Available only in limited quantities, it comes from a rare cross between sheep and goat raised in the secluded Languedoc region of southern France. Its lustrous fur side has the exquisite softness of sheep’s wool, while the leather brings the resilience and lasting strength associated with goatskin. Remarkably light, Lambskin Light offers a beautiful balance of softness and durability. Over time, the smooth leather develops a patina unique to each piece. 

Alpine Lambskin has an unmistakable presence. Sourced from France, its fur side is formed of long, richly defined curls, each with its own natural shape and movement. This individuality gives every piece a depth and character that cannot be replicated. 

The skins are carefully finished using traditional barrel tanning in Italy, lending the fur its distinctive color while preserving its exceptional softness.

Warm, supple and enduring, Alpine Lambskin offers two equally beautiful ways to wear. With the fur side outward, the curls reveal their full sculptural richness. Reversed to the smooth leather side, the garment takes on a quieter elegance, with the soft fur held close to the body.

The beauty of Merino Double Face (MDF) begins with Kaspar Frauenschuh’s personal selection. He sources every lambskin from Spain and examines each one by hand, choosing it for the density of its softly curled fur and its exceptionally gentle touch. A special finish lends the suede leather side its subtle depth and refined character. Each skin is then treated individually by hand with a light coat of beeswax, enhancing its resistance to the elements.

The result is a lambskin of beautiful suppleness and natural warmth, with a rich contrast between the fur side and the finished suede. Once a garment is complete, Kaspar personally inspects it again by hand. His attention to every piece begins with the skin and continues through to the final detail.

Merinillo Vigo lambskin comes from slightly larger Spanish lambs. It is distinguished by its soft, dense fleece and elegant hand. Through a premium finishing process, it is refined into a fine natural material before being crafted in Italy with the utmost artisanal expertise. The natural suede leather surface gives Merinillo Vigo a wonderfully soft texture on the inside, together with its signature matte, sophisticated appearance.
